Richard Newberry
 led his Robotics Team to the State VEX Robotics Competition on Saturday, 1 March, where they competed against 38 (mostly high school) teams and won the top award, theExcellence Award, for best robot, best design, and Top All Around Team. 

This qualifies them for the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS in Anaheim, California
